Seasons Greetings

Some christmas cards I designed based on the biblical story of Saint Lucia, patron saint of the blind. The word Lucia is derived from the latin word Lux which means light. St Lucy's day is most commonly celebrated in Sweden during the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year.

"'Tis the year's midnight, and it is the day's,
Lucy's, who scarce seven hours herself unmasks;
The sun is spent, and now his flasks
Send forth light squibs, no constant rays;
The worlds whole sap is sunk..."

Rosie-Lees Pitch

Here are some selected illustrations I pitched for the East London based design agency Rosie Lees. I based my idea on representations of cockney London culture, an idea initiated from the roots of the company name rosie lee which means cup of tea in cockney slang. I felt the greasy spoon cafe environment suited this concept precisely.

Forgotten Work

I recently moved house and discovered some illustrations I had hidden away. Here are a few of my favourites.
